Dangerous Bob, apparently people here don't like you to ask that kind of questions. That's the kind of questions i ask and i get negative comments
lol, I know it is just fiction and I don't connect it to Japan.Sorry for saying this, but it is fiction, anime - so you should not connect it to the Japanese or Japan in reality!
BLACK LAGOON - Wikipedia

I just heard that term and didn't know what it ment. Just wanted to know if it was a common term in Japan.
So from what I gather it can be positive or negative.
Well... normally so-and-so fever means positive (unless one uses the word as sarcasm or name of disease), but as far as Black Lagoon is concerned, maybe negative.
Ok I got it now thanks.
I was watching this Japanese's show and one of the characters asked if another character had "Whiteman fever'. I assume it means "fear of white people" or "hate of white people".
Has anyone else heard this term?
Is this a common view in Japan? I always thought Japanese's liked "Westerners".
Anyway, I am just curious because I have never heard that term before thats all.
Thanks
