What's that verb?

Er, well it's a slightly embarrassing subject but I was reading this site ...

カムフラージュその１

みんなは、こんな経験がないだろうか。
イスを動かしたときに、おならのような音がなったことがあるだろう。そんなときどうする。頭の中で「しまった。みんなはオレがヘをこいたと思っているぞ。」と思うはずである。
ここで多くとられる行動がカムフラージュである。
ほとんどの人は、もういちどその音をならして、誤解をとこうとするはずである。イスを動かす。しかし、世の中そんなに甘くない。一度や二度動かしただけでは、おならの音はなってくれない。なぜだろうか...。体重のかかり具合が、少しずつ違うからである。何度かやっているうちに「ブー」とヘの音がなることがある。
カムフラージュは終わる。
しかし、終わった後、あたりを見回すと、人がいなくなっていることだろう。世間の人々は、何度もイスを動かして音をならしているのを見て「あーあいつ、ヘの音をごまかしとる。」と思ったのである。この方法は、本当におならをした場合にもよく用いれれるからである。
もし、イスを何度もならしているやつがいたら「カムフラージュ」とひとこと言ってやろう。顔を赤らめ、自殺をするだろう。

and I realised that I don't know what the (past tense verb) こいた is in the following sentence.

頭の中で「しまった。みんなはオレがヘをこいたと思っているぞ。」と思うはずである。

I realised that I don't know what the (past tense verb) こいた is in the following sentence.

頭の中で「しまった。みんなはオレがヘをこいたと思っているぞ。」と思うはずである。

OK, Koita! Yes, "Koita" is a past tense, original is a "Koku". "Koku" is used with
wind(gas) or lie.

He wo Koku.
Break wind.

Uso wo Koku.
Tell a lie.

But this word "koku" is a very vulgar, and you should not use this word in public.

This is a common word.

Onara wo suru.
Break wind.

Uso wo Tsuku.
Tell a lie.

Please check "うそ(Uso)" and "おなら(Onara)". There are "Onara wo suru" and "Uso wo Tsuku" on goo dictionary.

Heheh... I know an old haiku that uses that verb, observe:

waga oya no
shinuru toki ni mo
he o kokite

分かりますか？

It's pretty funny and interesting I think on a low level.

Neither entry has 'koku'.

I think there is not a very vulgar words.
