now, is that Chinese food within Mainland China, or Chinese food outside of mainland china. As you may know, there is a BIG difference!

Absolutely,mainland's Chinese food is low quality whereas Taiwan & HK have the best authentic modernized traditional Chinese cuisines.

Authentic implies traditional, modern implies progress or modified, your post (in my opinon) fails logic 101 and is just random mainland bashing and wrong.

I think you have a bias with China (mainland). Many people like Chinese food very much. But if you don't like, it doesn't matter.Because we know that people's tast is difference. Especially you are American and we are Chinese.

So please know that Chinese food isn't low quality. It is depended on people's hobbies.

Among chinese food, my favourite is the Beijing one.
 
Yes! I just love the Beijing duck soo much, and tend to blame my stomach when I feel full !
 
I can only say that some people don't know much about China
