waiting for visa...

is it true that you have no rights to ask the immigration about your visa?
I want to ask the immigration about the status of my visa, because for 1 1/2 years im still waiting for my visa..and they are not calling nor checking until now..
please advice me...thank you very much!

I was about to start typing a reply and then noticed you managed to get banned before the figurative ink on your post had a chance to dry. How in the heck did you manage that, I wonder.

For the benefit of others who may have the same question:

Yes, you can call and ask about the status of your application. You probably won't get any answer other than "We're running a backlog at the moment."....but you can call and ask.
