I am not one to normally post chats that I have with people on here but this came out of nowhere, and I have no idea what's going on. I've spoke with this gentleman many times and he's always used a weird (to me) way of speaking, but I always attributed it to his age.

He's an extremely polite fellow, and I love talking to him. Can someone enlighten me to what I missed here?

It looks like he wanted you to translate something (anything) from Japanese into English for him, I guess so he could practice reading English. Looks like he particularly wanted to read something on health foods or Chinese medicine.

I think I see a gap in communication probably because he is a slow typist or has to think slowly?

From the clue ショップ作成 , I think that he is planning to set up a website to sell Chinese herbal medicine and wants you to help him with an English version of the site. He wants to "sell China to the world."
