A father, who is a failed former television reporter tries to mount a documentary about violence and sex among youths. He proceeds to have sex with his daughter who is now a prostitute and films his son being humiliated and hit by classmates. "Q", a perfect stranger somehow gets involved and enter the bizzare family who's son beats his mom, who in turn is also a prostitute and a heroin addict...

My next movie to get. (After I get "The Happiness of the Katakuris")

This is one film I keep thinking of getting. I like Takashi Miike films and have just bought 'The Bird People in China'. My Japanese film collection is steadily growing.

I have had this film for a while now, but have yet got up the courage to watch it.

I have watched a few Miike films in the past and not had any issues with them but the subject matter on this one does seem a bit strong.

I think I will watch Dead or Alive first and see if if I have the courage for Visitor Q after that.. lol

What a strange film. I advise everyone to watch this. It is a horrible film that you will never want to watch ever again however by watching this nothing will ever shock you again.

I will not say what happens as this will clearly ruin the suprise. And what a surprise you will be in for. And no you could not possibly guess the strange goings on in this film. So original.

this movie is insane...
last night i watched Gozu...which is also insane. Lactating crops up in this one as well.

in this case, insane isn't a good thing...i can't say i liked either visitor Q or Gozu

Bought and seen now, and all I can say is.... er....whoa. ☝ Takashi Miike at his all wierdness and sickness. Delightful yet horrifying at the same time. At least Hollywood won't remake this, as it appears to cover most of the controvercail bases. Let's see; Incest, protestution, drug taking, male rape with a microphone, female rape and death, necrophilia, domestic violence, bullying, casual violence, murder, and lactating women getting off on it. Have I missed anything? :?

I think there should be a style of cinema called 'Takashism'...just through in as many obscure scenes and subjects as poss and it becomes a homage to Mr Takashi!

i haven't seen all of hana to hebe yet, but i would say that it ranks right up there with the descriptions of these
a girlfriend recommended it to me, and now its got me wondering about her
