Using まだ as a question

Hi there. Simple question here, but how does one word a question that uses まだ? I can understand how もう works in a sentence structure but using まだ just doesn't seem to click in my mind since it'd be asking:

" have you already NOT done X "

Or perhaps that's what it's meant to be? No clue. Hence why I enter the esteemed halls of this forum.
