Nice series.
There's one thing that kinda bugged me, this animated TV series seems to have that shoujo manga series look into it, was it based on a shoujo manga series or was it just an animated TV series?
As for the Ultra Maniac TV series.
Well... It's quite nice and quite easy to digest too.
The ending is quite nice too, they wrapped the whole thing quite nicely and also provide a nice open ended ending to hint that the story goes on after that (there's no need for a sequel though).
But I don't know on why they had that scene with Ayu and Nina's childhood friend (not Maya, it was a boy, I forgot his name) during their 'date', it's quite violent (probably one of the most violent scenes in the series) and not quite necessary. Heck, that kind of thing could have made me stop watching a series.
Personally I think that Ayu should have instead stick a needle or pin on him, that would get the point much better.
The scene in the night club on other hand is quite funny though.
