just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce my self, my name is Steve I'm 27 and currently enrolled as a student to the world... but seriously I do have a job and I have been living in Nagasaki, Japan about 5 years now. I have many hobbies but what I really like to do now that its spring is kayaking and spear fishing. I was wondering if there is any one else skilled in these hobbies and that might know some good locations. So far my favorite area is around the 99 islands of Kyushu. Some of the most beautiful scenery of Japan can be found there.

it's nice to have someone from Nagasaki on the forum... I really envy you because I would love to visit Deshima and other places in Nagasaki to know more about Japans history with foreign countries.
