My favorite is yarou (~bastard). Also very versatile ^_^ Baka yarou, kuso yarou, many wonderful varients...

I haven't met a Japanese word I didn't like. It was partly the beautiful sounds that attracted me to the language in the first place. My favourite phrase at the moment (if I have heard it right) is from Arc the Lad II - "Shinde suginai". It sounds so cool!

And of course that makes it all the more interesting for you to use it.

I like a swedish word called "lagom". (didn't say it had to be Japanese =)
It means "just right".. but with some margin of error... so if you want a "lagom" temperature in your bathtub water it doesn't mean you need it to be perfect.. you just want it to be somewhere around perfect. so perfect +/- a few degrees =P

very versatile word.

And my kids are still at the age that such scatological humor amuses them.

The word is even better when combined into "Kinkyuu dappun", by the way.

That's one deep word, the discussion of which can fill tomes.

MY favourite word is おととい, simply having a word for day before yesterday fills me with such glee.
