The voice

My most favourite voice is Kyo's. I don't think it needs much explaining XD

But, I'm really obsessed with Isshi's voice.. I think it's really beautiful @_@

Other voices I like are Keiyuu (Kra), Jui (Vidoll), and Kaito (Shulla), Mao (SID), and Aoi (Ayabie. He might not be 'the best' singer but I like it).
I like unusual vocals

It would be easier to list the vocals I don't like, but I might get into trouble

well at first i didnt like hyde's voice that much, still do... but in an intervieuw he says
that for the album AWAke he practiced the songs 2 days before recording...
on that album his voice sounds much better....

and yes, when people get older there voice changes, but i think when you follow
the band being a fan and all, you dont hear the diverence that much as a non-fan would.

Kyo has a great voice, as said he can do pretty much anything with it.
In japan there are just a few artist (in the j-rock area) who can do this,
a specialy in the VK indie area the vocals arent that great.

Ehhh... I wanted to post a clip of Kozi's speaking voice... but I haven't got off my lazy *** yet to figure out how to make audio rip (if I can...)... but... go listen to Incoherents... his speaking voice in that kills me...... x_x
 
Best singing voice: GAKUTO-SAMA!!! I wish I could be original and say someone other then Gackt but to me he frankly has the most amazing singing voice I have ever heard. He's pitch perfect no matter what. Now yes, sometimes it is hard for the emotion to make it through on his voice (Example: "Bel Air", "Au Revoir", "Kalmia"). But we're talking about best VOICES not emotional expretionists, if we were speaking of emotion however it would be Kyo hands down but...yeah.

Best speaking voice: HAIDO-HIME!!! *bows down and worships him* Hyde has such a light speaking voice, light not to be confussed with high pitched. I could listen to him speak for HOURS. And the way he says "Tabun" could have me floored for hours as well. And what makes his speaking voice so great is that, although it is naturally a light voice, he can make it deep and rich when he wants to, deep also not to be confussed with low.
And I think my runner up on this one would be...hmmm, either Gackt again or the Ore-sama Miyavi is so adorable. I have a six minute clip of him doing nothing but spazzing. It's so cute!
 
I think Gackt's speaking voice is very sexy. Because it's soo deep. Also, he uses such nice japanese - sophisticated and polite. Also, he's got a great singing voice - Vanilla knocks me out every time!
However... what does one expect from someone called Mr.Perfect? His voice is just as the rest of him: perfect. Doesn't even give you a shock or anything. Just as it is.

Therefore, he's not my favourite.

For talking.. I'd definitely say Miyavi (unpredictable, am I not?). Miyavi's got a great voice - it's manly, but also very strange... But that would probably be because he doesn't speak like normal people would - because he's simply insane . I loooooove Miyavi's cocky way of speaking - even in his speach he's very conceited. Like when he says 'Urusai!' - it's too sexy... Me loves

I'd also say Bou was on my top of talking voices;
It's too funny - because he looks like the cutest, prettiest little girl one could imagine, but then - when he speaks, he's got the manliest voice of all of AnCafe! It's funny However, his giggle is very girly.

Speaking of laughter... TOSHIYA!
No one beats Toshiya when it comes to laughing. The Hyena! ... I would pay big money to have him laugh for me.
 
I still think Mao's singing voice is of better quality than Gackt's. He has a tendency to over-emote sometimes, but his voice is so good, I can forgive him.
 
I still feel so unoriginal for picking Gackt as my fav singing voice but I guess being truthful is better then being dishonest but orignial
 
best singing voice: tatsurou(MUCC) off course, he has a voice that kills...
but miyavi and mao's not far behind they're all so special

best speaking voice: yukke and shinya....or kai...can't choose they're all too cute
 
how about the lead singer of the ex-baroque? kyo or kei is his name if im nog mistaken.. 2 lazy 2 look ut up sorry

question: is it "hot" too have small sized lead singers? as in small sized i mean height

Well, quite a few bands seem to have really short singers... but... I don't care of their height... makes no difference if I think someone is hot or not... I guess cuz I'm so short that everyone is taller than me anyway... except for Yomi, the only jrocker who is actually shorter than me! Hehe, my mom has a kind of theory that short guys have to find some way of compensating for their lack of height by drawing attention to themselves in some ways... maybe that's what cause so many to become vocalists, heh?
