Who has the best voice? And with that I mean both singing AND talking....
Best singing: Kyo
Best Talk: Gackt

Feel free to disagree, but if you do, I wan't a propper explanation why you do! ;-)

best talk: gackt, yes no doubt

his voice is so deep (even kinda sexy i think).
He talks very delicate and neat, it's like every word he's says is special mabye
its because he has too think about what and how too say things most of the time,
or just because it's gackt it dunno.
But the way he speaks it makes almost everything sound very intresting.

hope it makes any sense

best voice: no idea... gotta think that over for a few days i think

Best voice: Toshi!!!! His voice makes me cry!! But then again Gackt's voice isnt so bad...

Best speaking voice: without a doubt, incontestably KOZI!!!
I'm not just saying that because I like him. His speaking voice really is...... death.

Best singing voice: that's a difficult one. I can't choose between the following for different reasons:
Kyo
Hizumi
Mao (SID)
Whoever sings for D (I've forgotten his name already... I knew it a few days ago... begins with an 'A'... :sorry: )
Isshi

I also think Daishi has an extremely good voice, which gets often forgotten in these sorts of considerations... it's very clear, in tune and also versatile, he can scream quite well, but not as well as Kyo

Miyavi... well, his voice has a unique quality that goes well with his style for music, but I wouldn't say it's one of "the best"... sorry...

Gackt... yeah he is a strong contender... I like his voice, especially on the new album you can hear good quality in it... but somehow... I wouldn't say "best" either... it somehow doesn't have enough of special to make me say that :sorry: (sorry all major Gackt fans!)

There are other singers I like very much of course and think are really good... but the ones I listed I think have something very special.

Gackt's voice is very sexy, I saw this comercial (I spelled that wrong didn't I?) for the game metal solid gear, where he talks quite low almost whispers... oh yeah! hehe

Toshi from X you mean?
the thing with Toshi is that his voice is typicall 80s stile, and since the band made that type of music, he really did a good job in the band. He has a nice voice, he can sing no doubt.

Kyo can do EVERYTHING with his voice, even if he sang false it would be sweet music to my ears. And the fact that he didn't take lessons just makes him God-like to me.
That's called real talent!

Yeah i meant toshi from X Japan! But how can a person be so stupid and leave X ??

Child_prey: Kyo is really talented too! I agree with that. But i dont know. I love his voice but sometimes it makes me feel strange. Dont know why

Kyo IS a great singer, no doubt....
I also think Isshi is great too but I don't think he's as good as Kyo.
I love Shinya's talking voice though....and Die's laugh.
I love Hide's all around voice just because it's not like any other I've EVER heard. It's cool like that ^^

screaming: Kyo, when he does, it's like angel music to my ears (i'm weird, I know)
Whisper: Gackt...Gaaaackt....Mmmmmmm Whisper sweet nothings to me my love...*hehe*
Singing opera: Hmmmm...Gackt...? Actually, Toshi can do that too... sing quite high.......

I remember when I heard Mitsu to tsuba for the first time... I just stared and listened with my mouth open. Such power in such a little man! he really blew me away... And Mushi, I was close to tears... Such pain....

die's laughter is...weird... I dunno, he's so cute though when he smiles But his voice, and Toshiya's too..they sound so... i don't know how to describe it... a bit suffocating... or something....

Shinya has a nice voice, and I also like kaoru's, such deep and manly voice...Kaoru, you sezzy devil you... ;-)

Best singing.... I'd go for Mao, from Shido. His voice is very clean, and he usually keeps it where he can manage it.
I think it's cool when they break their voices, but as for quality, Mao is my one.
Kyos voice is very good, but he's not that skilled as a singer.
In lives he often breaks off, I actually don't think singing lessons would have done him any harm. Just so he learns how to get the most out of that incredable voice.
Anyway, best talking voice: Shinya. It's so cute and nasal.
Best moaning voice: I would really like to say Karyu, but that would just be me moaning his name... Daisuke. From Kagerou.
Best laughter voice: Yomi(Naitomea). Definitely.

I'm still staying with Kozi on the speaking voice thing.
If I work out how to rip audio, I will post examples.

Dollporn, I agree with you about the singing lessons thing. I mean, Kyo has one of the greatest singing (and screaming) voices, don't get me wrong, he's definitely in there with the best for me. But there is sometimes a kind of prejudice against lessons, an irrational fear that the person will lose something of the individuality in their voice or the quality that makes it great the way it is. Which isn't true. I also think Kyo could benefit from a few lessons just so he can use his amazing voice to its full capabilities.

XD He has such a cute laugh, Kaoru's laugh is funny too.

Hide's fingers....man, they moved sooo fast, he was like....some kinda GOD....or something. He does indeed rock.

Singing voice:

-Kyo (Dir en Grey) do I even have to explain... everyone else already did
-Hizumi (D'espairsRay) The man has such variety... and his voice is so sexy and compels you to completely sacrafice yourself to D'espa x_x
-Jui (Vidoll) Can't believe no one has mentioned him yet... he has so such gorgeous smooth vocals
-Ruki (Gazette) because he is my oniisan no really... I fell in love with his voice... his voice has matured a lot... he must have hit puberty too cause his voice got deeper *hides from Ruki*
-Wataru (12012) I think his vocals are so unique... also variety... it's key to good listening!
-Satsuki (Rentrer en Soi) for the simple fact that the man can't be imitated... his voice is the first of it's kind and there will never be another like it...

Speaking voice:

-Karyu (D'espairsRay) I just love the way he talks...
-Kai (Gazette) aww... he's like sugar... his voice is so cute and he's so nice and happy and grateful...
-Bou (Antic Cafe) I want to pinch his cheeks when he talks
-Aoi (Gazette) His voice is death... so deep... so hot
-Kaoru (Dir en Grey) the man is a dork... I laugh practically everytime he opens his mouth

I don't think Kyo needs lessons, he has been singing since he's been 17, now he is 30 so.. that's some time He tends to break off during lives but I think that he just does that so he doesn't use all of his power at once, their lives are 2 h long so it's extr. tirying. Sure he sounded abit... well, inexperienced in the old days but that was then.... I don't mind lessons, if it would help him achieve the most of his talent.... Hell, atleast he doesn't sing-cover his own voice like a lot of singers do... (I don't know what it's really called, but you know, when they put on their song and sing along......) And he can hit those high notes, which many fail during lives.

Shinya is kawaii!!

Who moans the best?...Hmmm.... Gackt would do it nicely, and Kyo... But if you mean moaning someones name then it's Kaoru....hehe Grrr...Kaa-ooo-ruuuuu
