Hi, this is a small tea bowl that i own, I was hoping that someone could help me translate the text.. I think it may be a poem.

May be difficult ?

Possible it's Chinese instead of Japanese? Also, sometime ancient Japanese is different from todays writing and may be hard to decipher. I love old things.

Thanks Frank, I originally thought it may be Chinese as the bowl is Chinese in style, however I was advised by a Chinese website that the writing was probably Japanese. I guess it must be an older script. I will post the poem on here if I can get it translated.
