Hi guys,
I will be traveling to Japan in a 5 months via Bali (surfing) and wanted to find some surf spots around Tokyo.
I will travel a fair distance to get good waves, and I don窶冲 mind the cold, I have good wet suits.
Any locations?
Any Tips?

Surfing is quite popular in Japan.
There are lots of beach w/ good waves all around Japan; nearest locations from Tokyo are 'Enoshima' which is in Kanagawa prefecture, right below Tokyo; 'Shirahama' is another nice place.

i barely get in the water to take baths! prefer to scrub outside the tub
i love me some info though, thanks again for posting
also noting that shimoda has surfing as well

they just say that on part of their own conceit, not like they MEAN it
but i genuinely do.

I wonder if the surfers in Japan listen to the Beach Boys and/or Jan and Dean? It would be interesting to hear their songs in Japanese.

I doubt it. Nor do surfers in any other part of the world
