I have several questions about the Japanese culture
For one, I have had some experiences in Japan involving sunglasses. I seemed to get feelings from people like they make you look scary or unattractive. Is this true?
And one time I was with my friends, walking to the convenient store(at night), and I started to whistle. My friend told me it was bad to whistle at night and she also mentioned something about a snake 0_0
And also, I have seen many times in asian culture, something to do with poop. Like, I see golden poop statues, cellphonestraps and so on...what is it? what makes it lucky??

Hmm, I haven't heard about sunglasses and poop, but I have heard about whistling at night. I was whistling in my house at night and my mom cut me short, saying, "Don't whistle at night because a burglar might come and rob you." At this point I picked up a lighter and started flicking it on and off. Again, my mom chimed in, saying, "Don't play with fire or you will pee in your bed tonight." Seems Japan has a lot of superstitions, but then again so does America (black cats, walking under ladders, shattering mirrors, etc.). I can't help but think the latter saying was just to scare little children into behaving, much like the boogey-man.

Lucky poo ?

When you get my age, you feel lucky if you can poo!

Come on, we all know that ain't true. I am yet to know of a culture that adores, so to speak, feces. And I know what 'statue' you are referring to. It's the one above a building in Tokyo or Osaka. Come on, whatever that is, it certainly is not poop.

You also see little pink ones with happy faces on phone straps, stickers, dolls too... I would also like to understand this *perplexed*

He He .....

It looks like the symbol for Dairy Queen with the cone missing on the bottom. Don't forget South Park and the little "poop" character with the Santa hat here in the good ol US of A.

The sayings about whistling and whatnot are just things that adults say to kids to keep them from doing annoying or dangerous things.
