We seem to be making progess. Things are still a long way off yet, but it never hurts to plan in advance. Let's see who's interested. (And can make it.)

Well, I guess I'm the only one voting so far!

I checked "flexibility," as I really don't have any definite plans at this point. As far as I can tell right now, any of those months should be okay, but of course things could change.

I'm already looking into flight and hotel expenses. Just curious ... how long are most people planning to visit? :?

that would be awsome, let's do it! as long as mike cash isn't there, count me in! (I'm just kidding )

Well, I will be in Fukuoka for almost the whole July, but in the end of July I have nearly 2 free weeks (^-^)
By the way, if anybody is wondering you I am: I am new here

Same thing as for Washington D.C.: if someone donates a flight and a stay at the Ritz...

I am leaving early June, and I am in Nagoya with no extra money to get to Tokyo. So if a meetup happened somewhere nearby I would go, but otherwise I can't.

I will be in Japan summer 2005. 100%, however, I don't have the definate dates yet, but will find out before X-mas!!

One question because I'm new:

Have you done jref parties before? Or is this the first one you think about?

I think there have already been other parties.

There was talk about one before, but the plans never came together. So this will be the first one, as far as I know.

Ah, I see... well, it's pretty hard to do with so much international members...

But we sure as hell can try!

Absolutely! We'll just keep shooting for it, and see if it comes together this time!! (I have a feeling it will.)

i voted june but any of those months is good for me next year as I will be in Japan until february 2006

Never Fear, Mad Pierrot is here.

:samurai:

As long as we have sufficient numbers of people who can make it, I see no reason why we can't do this.

Power to the People!

Yeah, it is possible....how many Jref members live in Japan in the summer of 2005?
I will make a short trip to Japan the end of this year, but will not be able to meet up due to lack of time, but summer 2005 I will be having a longer holiday, so be great to get together.....Will update on the dates when I have them by January 2005.... :haihai:

It is weird that I feel like I know some of you guys already, even though I haven't met any of you in person.....

D'oh! CLicked on the wrong option, meant to click on July. AARRRGGGHHH!!! :sorry:

If I can get a job flipping burgers or something starting this christmas (My school-plans have a gaping hole spring semester 2005) I'm totally there.

I'm sorry you guys, I'm going to Canada next year. ^_^;;

im gonna be there for a whole year yay!!! and if people are planning on hanging around for a few days I am sure we could organize to all go temple trekking or something.

No money and no time to go.......
I also don't know the place well.......
