SuG

Yays SuG thread! I just saw them at Jrock Invasion and am now completely hooked! They were so good live, definately got the event off to a good start! "Ich bin Japanese ninja!" - Takeru's attempt at German... he then said something about Naruto! ^_^ Love Scream Party has to be my new favorite song. I'm using it as a theme when I next hold a party! Takeru is so cute! ... ok I'm going off on one now!

I'm gona have to look into that translated making of... I watched it... it was still funny... but I didn't know what they were saying!
 
great seeing Sug is having more fans.. that is an obvious way to know they are doing well... and maybe they are going to become in one of the greatest bands.
 
They're going to be huge I think. They must have gained so many fans since Jrock Invasion. I don't think too many people knew them before they went. I sort of knew them but was no way near as obsessed as I am now! That gig definately did them a lot of favours... in Europe any way! Now they just need to do a tour!
 
That's true. Look at all the progress they've made since coming out. Not even a year old and they've already become so popular. Maybe it has something to do with PSC, but advertising, PVs, props, costumes, makeup-- all this is really top quality for such a new band. Generally bands this new have second-rate stuff, and it's a bit grainy and dim and low quality, but SuG's got really good stuff going. But whatever the means, they're seriously getting a lot of fans.
 
@Koji-kin: artists from PSCompany always seems to be so popular. the GazettE, AliceNine., Kagrra, ,SuG, Miyavi... for Kra, I guess it's somewhere in the middle.

yeah, SuG is really a good band and got really good stuffs going on, like you said xDD

When I first heard Scheat, I fall in love with SuG <33
 
Well, they /are/ a pretty big company. It stands to reason that they'd only sign with talented bands.

Don't get me wrong, I think SuG definitely has the talent and it's good that they have these things so early in their career. It fits their image well. It's just rather rare, but I'm happy for them.

Aha, for me, it was Love Scream Party, so yes, I'm a fairly new fan.

Well my first song was Alterna and i fell in love with the pv x33
Love scream party is great but too bad I can't download the subbed making of >.<
 
I can't find the ones with sub >.< and I can't seems to find any of their singles or albums over here .... T_T

you're right I also thought that compared to other new indie bands they already have a VERY high level and quality. that's what first came to my mind when I watched Alterna PV...O/////o
I thought of for example alice nine's or gazette's first PVs and it was just like: WOW they weren't even near to SuG's level now...!
but I guess it's also because of general modernization of the music scene and especially of PS Company...

Amita: I love it when Takeru and Chiyu are discussing that VERY senseless stuff xDD and the teleporting thing with Yuji and Chiyu is also cute...

Well, GazettE was an indies band, first, so it stands to reason that their first PV, Wakaremichi, isn't the best of qualities.

But I'm guessing both alicenine and GazettE had to prove their worth before they got all those things. SuG probably just showed a lot of promise to the company. -nods-

I'm attempting to get the subbed version of the making as well. The person doing that has been very helpful.
 
But you have to think of the fact that the gazette already started 6 years ago, they had worse technicus than they have now and. Was Psc that famous back then ? I guess not cause the bands they have now are not a lot older than that
 
SuG are awesome. Takeru is very much like a young Miyavi! He's soo special and cute, I wanna have an ice scream party now. J rock invasion was amazing, usually you get ****** bands being the first out at festivals. But Sug set the bar pretty high! Now all they have to do is come to England.. Maybe they will support An Cafe?? :O :O I'm only wishing...
 
That's true too. PSC has really become big since then as well.

XDD I want to go to a live...ha, that'd be great if they played with An Cafe. XD

I'd just love a Japanese band in england to have another Japanese band supporting them! So far they've not even had a support or the supports been crappy. (in my opinion any ways!)

I totally agree about An Cafe... gods that would be a mental show.

But I think even SuG are too big for suporting in CC Club, London... it wouldn't pay off for them I think they should do their own European tour! After Jrock Invasion they have so many fans over here... and those who went are naturally goin to rant to those who didnt... the word will spread!
 
Im sure the ps comapany is testing out the european market with this tour so maybe u might all get to see sug touring there someday xD

And if anyone has the subbed making of, would anyone pm me? The one at the sug community is mu... which i cant get anything from..
 
seeing this new band having a live in Germany[?]is something great... i mean... like 8 years ago or less... there was not chance to see Jrock bands playing oversea, well at least Europe, in their begining... Good for them ^_^ i now i will never see them play here but is good to know that japanese music [and not from anime] is getting popular.
 
They are really popular in Europe. they will probably do a tour! And Takeru will like England. we have speed limits. ( in the interview he said he was terrified of the German Autobahns having no speed limits!! ) How cute.. Has anyone got a picture of Takeru with his dog???
