is it true that in japan some sportbikes are not allowed...is there a cc cap or anything. just wondering, my one friends is an enthusiest and when we go over in the fall hes going to purchase one asap. so yeah, could someone please tell me if the rumors are true about this cc cap. thanks

Shouldnt think so! All the 900cc fireblades and so on can be purchased in Japan.

I REMEMBER IN THE GOOD OL DAYS(early 70's)

when some of the big heavy bikes were just coming out;
so many of the 4FT something small framed Japanese guys had wooden blocks on the bike pedels and had to stop at the curb so they could reach the ground without tipping over. They really went through hell to get the big muscle bikes!
