I got a japanese keyboard from a friend a week ago. The setup wasn`t easy and there are still some minor quirks (I`m using Linux). So I`m still not able to type the character printed on the け-key. It looks like a small ケ (katakana ke). I never seen this character before. Is it very important? I don`t want to spend hours configuring my system for a single char, which I will never type.
I'm pretty sure that you're talking about the abbreviation for the kanji 箇, which is a counter for inanimate things, but most specifically for months (一ヶ月、二ヶ月, etc).
