Hey, I listened to Play!
It's pretty good imo! Still a 'pop' sound (I have to say Renai album is still the most to my taste), but you can hear the guitars crunching away, and they have a knack for writing a good melody. I also got particularly hooked on the bombastic brass section in track 8 *can't remember the titles >_<* Track 11 is a bit heavier as well.

I tell you what this album makes me think of - a lazy, sunny, late Sunday morning when you wake up languidly after a great Saturday night... and go out on the balcony and lounge in the sun with a cup of tea and the day to yourself and no urgency or stress... on that kind of day, this is the album I would put on...
 
I'm waiting for my copy of play to come so I haven't listened to it yet, I don't want to ruin it for myself since I'm good at listening to songs before their actually released.

I am I especally want the photobook just for Aki XD. I wanted their 2007 calender, but it sold out before I could get it T_T

When I converted it, it came out to 5'6". T_T I have to wait 4 more days before my CD gets shipped out. I forgot that I told them to send it when they send my copy of the new Dir en grey single.
 
[Off-Topic] Agitated Screams of Maggots? Itsounded so unbelievably cool on their official site. I want it! I would be in the Dir en Grey thread too, but for some reason, I feel really out of place there. Dir en Grey is my top jrock favorite, and also my first. SID ties with it. [/Off-Topic]

I just searched "175 cm to feet" on Google. Lazy? I should think so. And they gave me a 5.7 [insert a bunch of random numbers here], so I just took the 5.7. ^^
I already hit 101 posts. Now I can have 102 Dalmations. Just kidding.

back on topic i've noticed that each conversion place gives you a different number at either 5'6" or 5'7" XD

Making Aki taller is always nice hehe 5'7" or 5'8" is the perfect height for a guy =)
 
I wish I could be that tall. I'm like 5 feet 1 inch. Everyone I know thinks that asians are born short, so they don't bother me about my height too much. -.-

Guy should be taller though. Wish I had the opportunity [sp?] for a million growth spurts.
 
Be glad your 5'1". I'm 4'11" and It doesn't bother me but I get picked on alot because of it. I'm not asian, but people tell me that I shouldn't be that short. I don't care i'm happy and the guy I really like isn't bothered by my height either.
 
^ my mum is 4'11 and paranoid about her height she absolutely refuses to believe that no one else really notices.
 
Rikyo - 4'11" is neat! ^^ It's great that you aren't too bothered by your height. I hate it when people that are taller than me pat my head.

Kinsao - My parents are like 5 feet 3. Or so. And I'm about 2 inches shorter than them, and they just go, "You've got a long way to go."
 
I'm the shortest person in my family, but I don't let it bother me because i'm happy enough with myself to be happy with my height and I'm not going to do anything to change it.
 
I'm the shortest in my family too. I don't know what I could do to make myself taller, but my mother is convinced she can make me taller.
 
The only way I know is a medicial procedure where do surgery, break the bones in your legs and put a metal pole in to strech the bone so it'll grow back longer ouch >_<

My mother says that I'll grow taller if I go to sleep before 10 PM. No way I can do that.

It's a really great site, full of SID romaji lyrics, interviews [I love reading them!] english lyrics, and japanese lyrics. It also had other bands, though I think SID taked up a lot of the recent entries.
Search under "Archives" to reach the interviews. And if you read the diaries, Mao's is so sweet. I'd go work in his cafe! > : D
