Samurai Armour

My current ambition is to work with the armourers across in Japan, but I dont know all that much Japanese as of yet, and im unsure how easy it would be for a foreigner to get employment in such a traditional field. At the moment I make chainmaille armour so I have at least some skill in it.

Please if anyone has any tips or useful information, I would be very greatful!

You can find a school list with courses for conservators/restorers of cultural properties in Japan.

Or how about asking the British Museum? I suppose there are some conservators or restorers there.
