If I were to comment something like, for example,

"美しい曲
カイリのようなｗ"

or something of a simillar nature, what would it sound like?

1. Is it even right first of all?

2. Is it more normal to use だ or to leave it out? (Leaving it out seems to me like defying the rules of basic Japanese) I could have also used なんだ for emphasis maybe? What sounds most appropriate? Are they all appropriate but it is down to me to get the feel that I want right?

3. Is adding lines like the 2nd one normal? I might have said "カイリのような美しい曲ｗ" for example Does doing what I did add some sort of dramatic effect or is it just broken?

4. The ｗ is fine here right? Just like a "lol" I believe.

5. Would it be ような or ように? 1st is for nouns, and 2nd is for verbs right? But I searched online and found both being used in the same way (a noun that is beautiful like another noun). Which is it?

I no doubt sound like a fool or something but I don't mind, I hope to tighten a few points of knowledge with this

If I had to guess, it's a name. At least that's what I thought when I first read it. I am probably mistaken, but I think there's a singer named Kylie... but I tend to be out of the pop culture loop.

More specifically, ような turns whatever is in front of it into an adjective and ように turns it into an adverb. This よう is a な adjective itself if that helps. Sometimes seeing the difference between an adjective and adverb can be tricky (especially in Japanese), so I presume (and I could be completely wrong) that if they looked like they were being used identically, they may not have been. Remember, an adverb doesn't need to come directly before the verb.

カイリ is the name of a "person" shall we say. I suppose this matters a lot. Sorry I guess I should have said.

ナスのような美しい紫色だと伝えたくて

These were the two things I was talking about. I did a random google search. I looked at them very quickly and made the assumption they were being used in the same way. I am probably wrong now, but yeah.

Ah, I see. If it's really Kylie as in Kylie Minogue, it's usually written as カイリー in Japanese.

ように and ような both work perfectly fine here. The difference "～のように美しい vs ～のような（美しい）曲" is subtle.

"w" might be misinterpreted as "joking/ridicule".

きれいな曲
カイリ/カイリーみたい is another (more colloquial) option.

Okay. A couple more questions if I may.

1. Are these kinds of removals of だ or です just a colloquial thing? I wouldn't break the "naturalness" if I were to add any of the two would I? This is of course, for any non formal/casual situation.

2. I thought みたい was for saying that something physically looks or seems like something else. But it can be used for any similarity then? Just like "like"

だ/です could add different nuance here. Also, just to add だ/です could sometimes sound unnatural without sentence final particles such like ね, ねぇ or よ, and, troublingly, it's extremely hard to use sentence final particles correctly even for advanced learners. It's one of the hardest things to grasp for non-native learners, I believe.
