Great movie! I would highly suggest it.
About this girl Aoki Junko who has the ability to make things combust into fire. She falls in love with her co-worker and hears that the co-worker's sister is murdered by street thugs. She uses her power to revenge the co-worker's sister.

The movie have very suprb special effect.

I would say more, but I do not want to attemp to ruine the movie :

From what you wrote, it sounds very similar to the American cult-movie/story "Carrie", a story by Stephen King.

YOu got me very curious there, I think I will try and look it up and read more about the film.

Yo, Miss A., don't forget about "Firestarter" which King also wrote, it was about a young girl who possesed pyrokinesis. But yeah, that movie interests me as well. Hopefully it'll makes it's way to the U.S. eventually! I'd certainly like to see it!

Well if you guys have a lot of movie channels, Encore has been showing some Japanese movies lately. That's where I saw it. Ichi The Killer was another movie on that channel.

I'll check out Kings movies and see if they are similar. Who knows, they could be.
