i am confused as to why pura doesn't seem to be around much... to me... they're untouchable... but that's cos i'm completely and tottaly under ryutaro's spell....
i... guess i just wanted to give them a mention... i know much about this band (or rather ryu) but not enough... so info is good ^.^
i have a lot of their music... tho no pv's (i need the hard drive space >.<)
and lots a lots a pics (tho i have more miyavi *cough300cough*) ... and probably more kagrra come to think of it... but that;s cos it's hard to find pura! *cries* and if i need them, i just go to harusaki.org...

so, yeah, basically... i wanna know why people dislike them... i'm not gunna scream at you... honest... i'm just curious.
but if you love them (like me ^.^) YAY we can talk about how ryu's just... ryu... and akira's hott as, and tadashi's just gorgeously dark and mature (he reminds me of eiri yukie in that way ) and how bouchi's (hiroshi) the cutests lil thing ever ^.^

I love Pura! Never heard before that people dislike them... :?
They're one of my 'four favourite bands' (Dir, Kagrra, Janne Da Arc, and Pura xD)
People just don't talk about them as much as other bands I think. ☝

Ryutaro is ugly.
And his voice is irritating.

um... boring how? i'm not gunna try changing your opinion, cos there's be obviously no point... and your taste in guys is your taste in guys, but... pura boring? that one i really haven't heared... their sound's forever changing, and they're always coming up with new stuff... yeah, they're not as visual anymore, and they may not be as pretty as other bands... but... i really like that about them... the fact that their so different... and really stick to their own...
 
Boring, monotonous. Nothing catchy or memorable enough to make me want to hear it more than once.

there not bad,only heard some songs
and about ugly voices,one of the iritatingt voice in j-rock i heard was the vocalist on the first (indie) cd of malice mizer

omigod! tetsu? nooooooo! he had such an emotive voice!
i mean, completely different from gackt, but... it really suited the music.
i don;t understand how people can say ryu's voice is boring... it's heart breaking... i very realry find my self to really listen to their music and not cry... he really pushed his emotions through....
having said that... they are quite 'mellow' i suppose, compered to the insanity of other bands... i mean, ryu isn't a people person... but... that's what makes their band so appealing. their music is of the wall and really bizar with unique riffs and inspirational lyrics... but their performances are usually relaxed... which gives them a really eary feeling to them.
tetsu's voice reminds me a lot of ryu's... so... how you can say you thought tetsu's was ugly and irritating.... yet agree ryu has a good one is just..... very confusing
 
tetsu's voice isnt that bad,but i have a crap (128 kbits) version of Memoire DX,so meight be that can be the problem

ooo, omigod, no you should so try and get a decent copy, because i'd say he's the best outta the lot.
imnea, i love gackts voice... it;s amazing... but... sometimes it's just a little too good, you know? tetsu's had range, and really emotion in it... a lot like ryutaro's

speeking of, which pura song's you heared?

hmm... all wonderfully brillient pura songs *loves them all*
if you wanna get some more, i surgest:
planetarium
cream (the cut version... ie from the ablum cut, tho the other one is equally as great)
melancholic (shouldn't be too hard to find, it;s quite recent)
itai ao...

that'll do for the moment... tho, anything on the puppet show album, its my fave album, but i have yet to hear ANY song by them i disslike

i rearly turn down the opportunity so increase a person's likeing in ANY jrock... but i had to move all my pura albums off my comp cos i have very little free hard drive... i have those songs on my comp tho...
 
how small is your harddive?

i got my self a 120 gb hardisk
 
*gasps* not fair!
mins like... 6 gig, it's tiney... and i have to do all my graphics and art on here too... so in general i have very little free space. plus i don't have an mp3 player, and hardly any of my cd players play my wripped files.... which really smells, because i find it difficult to get through teh day without music...

Hmm... well I won't sit here and "praise" Plastic Tree because I am not a huge fan of theirs. I find there music a little repetitive and boring. I can't sit and listen to it for long periods of time. It's great to listen to while writing a paper or doing homework or something cause you really aren't compelled to sing or get into it. Also I listen to them to put me to sleep... XDDD

Ryutaro is adorable though.

thanks for yah comment... i just feel, maybe i should be able to understand why so many people dislike them... because if i'm gunna go around blabing about their brillience, i need to see what other people see as their bad point... it makes sence to me ^^;
but... i really didnlt think they could be seen as boring... but... i guess some people must do....

yeah, pura is deff the best to listen to going to sleep (well... that and miyavi... but that's me.... and x-japan) ryu's voice is so relaxing, i just get completely lost in it.

pura are very different to them

diru just rule the world... moi dix mois are pretty funky... have yet to hear the other two, but i'm likely to like them *loves pretty much everything*
