Okay right now I am in an really bad mood, I just dropped my PSP and cracked the LCD screen into 20 million pieces (more like 7). Now it still works, cause I was listening to music when it happened, and it is still playing fine. But does anyone know where to get a new lcd screen for cheap, or where to get fixed at. If I buy a screen myself is it easy to do, or should I have a pro do it so I don't risk fvcking the whole system up?

Please help.

when did you buy it?
just contact sony's technical support.

but notice that they're going to install the latest firmware after repairing it - if you know what i mean.

so no more homebrew / ISOs if you've got fw 1.5 at the moment.

and get some display foil and a logitech play gear case afterwards, it should prevent the worst if you drop it again.

My warranty has already passed. Its one year right? I bought mine in March. And I had a case for it, but I took it out of the case, and the day I take it out the case is the day I decide to drop it.

dunno how long it is in the U.S., warranty lasts 2 years here. anyway, i guess it hasn't got anything to do with warranty, because you smashed it yourself, it's not sony's fault.

just contact them or check out the warranty details in the manual.

there are also a lot of electronic-dealers who replace lcd-displays. guess this will be cheaper than the official sony service.
