How do you say "favourite colour, element (eg: air, water), quote"? What is the word for 'powers'? I've seen it as 性能 and also as nooryoku and chikara in my dictionary. What is it?!

I'd say your best bet is 能力. That seems to be the most common in my experience with anime/manga/video games.
