Ok so, for me this is a no-brainer, Gackt wins hands down, but I just want to know what you all think, and maybe convert some of you non-believers.

I like Gackt M.S. Camui more then Kyo.
He's a type of guy i never saw before and his music is intruiging and i don't have problems with his feelings:

Gackt's performances and videos are often sexually suggestive and usually contain a level of homoeroticism. This is usually considered to be a form of fan service, either for the female audience or to (theoretically) "shock" a more conservative media.

Gackt has stated in his autobiography that while he is emotionally capable of loving another man, he is sexually incapable of it.

I Like kyo more than gackt

gackt seems to be like others and his music is bland

Kyo is eunique He has a certain sense and style and his music is Amazin

oh man, way to stab my heart out with this poll...

it used to be gackt for me, but now it's kyo. i think kyo has something more to say than gackt... something to prove... on the other hand, gackt is a much healthier roll model and all that. they're both very interesting people who are passionate about what they do and what they mean, and i will always love both of them, but at this stage in my life, musically and personally kyo rises above gackt for me... not for lack of love for gackt, by any means, but because kyo is just so much for me :3

I think this is the most Stupid poll ever made. It's in the wrong part of the forum.. And Kyo and Gackt ain't a good comparesen.. I mean their music is diffrent Their image is dirffrent. They got totally nothing to do with each other.. It doesn't make any scence

well I would vote Kyo just to enoy the maker of this Tread XD Cause he says Gackt right away, But I don't know kyo that well. I don't know his songs and the messages he puts behind it.. I just know his face and some youtube things.
And Gackt is the one who brought me into the visual kei.. His voice is nice. But he is a Egoist persone who things he is to great to handle or something like that..

And I don't want to vote against someone I don't know

i voted.....Kyo.

I like Gackt too. But Kyo has always been #1 for me.

yea i agree that it is indeed hard to compare. different style, different image. for me, music wise, both are geniuses. i prefer gackt's vocals as i think his voice is really rich, deep and even sexy. Kyo has a very unique style and you just cant stay unaffected. For image wise, i dont particularly like either. Both are disturbing in their own way, but it brings out the message of who they are.

I enjoy both. However if I had to chose one it would have to be Gackt. He was my first jrocker so he will always be top to me! I love his vocals! Also I am not a huge Kyo fan. (dont shoot me ) To be fair I have not seen or heard that much of him. :sorry:

Kyo!! All tha way! Dir en grey got me into jrock in the first place apart from anything else, Gackt (although hes still good) isn't really my style. Plus what he can do with his voice is incredible. As is the emotion he puts in his songs and performance. And the meaning to all his lyrics. And.. hes so damn cute! (sorry, but it had to be said...)

Where's the Gackt love? I'm in awe of both men but I just love Gackt! I'm hopelessly obsessed with him. Malice Mizer was the band that got me into Jrock, back in the day... *cough* Even when I'm old, grey and can't remember where I live...Gackt will still hold a special place in my heart. Now if this had been Kiyoharu against Gackt..I might have a hard decision to make.

Well, I think both of them have their good points in terms of music and u can't really compare. But visually, I would choose Gackt for looks ^^V

This is such a tough question. Is it a match between voice or looks or what? I'd say both Kyo and Gackt have sexy voices and I love them both so much. Well of course Gackt wins Kyo in the looks and stylish-ness, but Kyo is so cool on stage with his stunts and all that. I think they each have their own strengths and it's real difficult to compare them as their styles are rather different
