Shinsengumi or Minbu Wolfs, they really have existed, the same way as Gensai Kawakani (Character ho as inspirited to create Rurunori Kenchin) one of his big rivals.

Tetsunosuke Ichimura tried to join the group so he may avenge is death parents. Is older Brother Tatsunosuke, take care of him just like a father. Later on he joins Shinsengumi.

Opinion. I just loved all episodes of this anime. In my modest and sincere opinion this is way better than Rurunori Kenchin. The actions scenes are at the high rated level, and the dramatics scenes are just like the novels.

I like that anime

Ooooh, yeah, this one XD.
It spent a lot of time showing the members of the Shinsengumi crying and weeping. The animation was good, but... it took a long time to get to the action and actual plot / story... and when it did, it ended prematurely @__@. I know that the original manga continued way past where the anime ended, so it's kind of sad they cut it off.

I LOVE this anime! And the manga! And the history! Practically everything about Peace Maker Kurogane. It was this anime which brought out my passion for the Tokugawa Meiji history!
