Hello all!
I thought it was time for a formal introduction on the "Introductions" thread. I've been enjoying my time already here at JREF, making new friends, engaging in a bit of pointless banter with the newbies, dispensing practical advice etc. I hope to continue my role here as senior advisor to those seeking to make a success of their lives in Japan. So any questions you have, fire away!

A little personal information: I work in a University, am married to a Japanese Wife and own a House here. I am also the keeper of a small but troublesome flock of Budgies. My interests include Japan, the English Language, playing the Helicon and, of course, the Internet.

From the edges of tomorrow...that wish that never comes...I wish for a great Autum for you all !! Welcome Paul ! I do hope that you would spend more time learning JREF before going head first through the door.

But, alas, what has been done, can hardly be undone. I would strongly suggest that you not take too much care in considering yourself to have any seniority just as of yet, however.

Hanachan, thankyou! I'm enjoying my time here already, as I said. I believe I have a lot to offer the site and its newbies, but I most definitely do not consider myself superior in any way to anyone here. I'm rather sad that you should think so.
