Has anyone else here seen/heard of the intellectual thriller that is Paranoia Agent? I love it due to the show's ability to make you laugh and scare you silly at the same time. Also, the concept of people who are on the verge of a mental breakdown becoming relieved and relaxed via a whack on the head from a bent baseball bat kind of gives me the feeling that the creators wanted to convey idea that sometimes to help someone in the long run, you must hurt them in the present.
