hi there to anyone who can give me some advice or direction,
i am moving to japan soon to marry my japanese fiancee. i will then apply for a spouse visa to start searching for work as soon as possible.
ive heard there is a lot of paperwork to be done.
can anyone tell me what to expect and or supply some online links?

After your marriage is registered in her koseki tohon (J-family register), you can apply for a spouse visa. You will need a guarantor for immigration purposes. Your wife can be the one or one of your parents-in-law. Since you have no job currently, you will need a financial supporter on your visa application form. Again she can act as the one or, if she doesn't have a full time job, one of your parents-in-law. That person will have to submit the certificate of employment and a tax certifcate. The spouse visa procedure is pretty straightforward. Unlikely you will have some troubles.
