Well, when I was younger I really liked playing Gianna sisters (sp?) on the good old Comodoore 64, or Atari. hehe.
I liked Where in the world is Carmen San Diego too... but I think that if I should have to play them now, I would get bored.
I like platform games, and games that you're not limited to with time.
Sounds morbid, but I really love Grand Theft Auto... the new one, forgot the name. I started playing that when it was on the computer as a birds eye view, little box game.
Its evolved so much, and is definately 100% better. I think I need to invest in a PSP, so I can play to my hearts content. Anyone got one of them?

yeah i like the older games a lot and many i can still play, i do enjoy the new games though, the rpgs and sports games are wonderful now. when i was a young child i didnt like they sports games too much but now they are fun, its probably my age too.

I would suggest you get the Nintendo DS. It has a longer battery life and much more games are on the way soon. But that's just my opinion. You should get whatever you prefer.

I agree 100% with you there.

But can you get grand theft auto on Nintendo DS? Its the only game I like to play... but many thanks for the recommendation

You can get old school GTA on the Gameboy Advance. It's the old style overhead driving type game, not the new ultra-violent type.
I love the new games, especially RPG's, but I love the old school games that you can just pick up and put down, nice simple gameplay.

I went with the 'old school' vote. Well, to be honest, I never have been so much into video or TV games, but did put some time in on Pac Man and Space Invaders--here in Japan, during my very first visit in 1980. Later on I tried some others, and from time to time race with my sons, but just found that the thrill is gone. Is...is it,...uh, my age? Nah... that can't have anything to do with it.

I don't play alot of games, well occasionally I get addicted for a while, but I like Asteroids - not very good at it though. Once I was totally addicted to Space Invaders - "just one more game...one more game" for hours lol. And now I love Tomb Raider - so I voted for both old and new.

Thanks for telling me about GTA! Hmm I will stick to being a bed potato and watching tv, until I've scrummaged up enough money.

I love both! At the moment I am playing a new one, Paper Mario on the GameCube, but it came from the N64. Before that I played the Arc the Lad games on PS. They are ancient, but still enjoyable. Tetris has to be one of the best games ever - and Lemmings, I still play both of those on my GBA. Next I am going to play Silent Hill 4 on the XBox. I LOVE VIDEO GAMES!!! Especially RPGs, and it doesn't matter how old they are.
