Mucc

So ... I just got back from the MUCC shows at Otakon, and I don't really have words right now to describe how good it was. Everyone who knows me knows how much I love D'espairsRay, and I thought their live shows were some of the best I've ever seen, but MUCC has taken the cake ... by FAR, as being the absolute best band I've ever seen in my life! It was amazing, the vocals were tight, the instruments amazing ... Yukke KILLS it on bass ... KILLS it ... I've never seen anyone play like that. I can't believe I actually experienced 2 lives that great, that intense, everything about them was perfect. I was in the front row for both, right in front of Yukke ... God, I'll explain more in a live report later ... Just know that MUCC has taken the spot as my favorite Jrock band ever, it's incredible how good they are, absolutely incredible.

the new song: I reaaaallly love it, I didn't think mucc where able to do such things and I just know that mucc just love to try different stuff so there is no way their gonna stay with this style, and that's the great thing, cause it makes it possoble for them to do this without being crap, if you guys understand what I mean...

@ Sunsweet: YAAAAAAAAY! They ARE great, aren't they?! I am so happy you were able to go to the concert! (haha - now you can know why I love them so much! )
And Yukke is really awesome on the bass.

ditto.......except i cried.....and did a lot of unmentionable things....at the concert.....LOL that only those who were with me know about..... T_T but yeah.....mucc definately tops the cake....no joke..... i actuallly called my friend who couldnt make it during the concert...the sound quality was ****** amazing.....she told me she heard mucc loud and clear through the cell...in mypants.....while me head banging and jumping around....and she got sad and hung up lol....

mucc sounds and is 100000000000000000000X better live then on cd.....seriously...

Boobs... seems like not too many people went besides us so there's not much else to say if no one else has input about the shows. I could ramble about Yukke being le sex if you'd like... (God, I love that little badly-hairstyled man)
 
Hi! Newbie here!
So... Almost everyone here has been in MUCCs concert(s)? I'm envious. Ach, why do I have to live in as distant country as Finland? No good J-Rock band EVER comes here .
Actually, truth to be told there is kinda' great possibility that MUCC comes to Finland. There was an MUCC interview in Finnish Anime Magazine and in it they told that they would come here. But somehow I have a feeling that they only said that because there was a Finnish woman interviewing them... Then again, YUKKE is a fan of a Finnish Band The Rasmus and that might be a reason enough to come here... (Ehm, I'm babbling...)
Anyways, nice to meet you all MUCCers!

And I haven't been to Mucc's concert simply because I wasn't interested in. But that's changed and now I'm sure I would do anything to see them performing live! thiugh I live in Poland
And IceGlow that's not true that the jrock band don't come to Finland! You have so many great rock bands, though. I envy you and I've always wanted to live in Finland
New single is "Utagoe", right? Or correct me if I'm wrong Actually it's not so bad, but still, I prefer the old Mucc better. And the PV for it.. Kinda weird, seems very MTV-like and american, ne? Anyway, I love Mucc and I can agree on that, at least they're trying something new...
 
Heh heh Well okay. It might be true that J-Rock bands do come to Finland, yeah, but the bands are usually the ones that I'm not so interested.
inki, Ayabie is good band. I love them, especially after their live in here. I just meant that I'm a bit sad that the bands I really really love don't come here. Not that I don't love Ayabie as much (Ach, babbling again )
Anyways-... "Utagoe", the new single. I saw the music video in YouTube. I was a bit shocked first. The music was okay I guess, even though I don't really like the new sound of MUCC. It's too 'commercial' for my ears (and that's probably because I prefer their older albums; Kuchiki no Tou being my fav.). If I listen to it more I think I'll grow to love it just as well. Okay, but now to the video it self. Gee, if you ask my opinion I just say that it was a total flop. It had this ridiculous, just like mrs reita said, 'American/MTV look' in it and it was just . I mean, what's with the skaters and stuff? The only posivite thing I can think is probably Miya who looked absolutely adorable running with his quitar (). I just hope, really HOPE, that this isn't going to be the way MUCC is going to be taking
 
No! Satochi's birthday is 12th of Aug T_T....

Ah~ Japanese Rock music always got a lot of influences from American ways since I first listened to them... Hmmm I don't know you guys will feel that or not, 'cause Japanese people adapt it delicatly and very clever to be their own style...Maybe because of their personalities and background. That's why I really love Japanese music...It is mixed between American and Asian...and 'I' felt some strong influence from Europe in 1996-7 (Hmm maybe because of Malice and Laruku) and thereafter ...actually Yoshiki has some European influence, but I felt more like American thing...and Uta goe's whole PV...wierd..I felt like Japanese stuff more than MTV thing....To tell the truth, I felt it's like un-official Japanese PV when you see in Karaoke!! hahahahaha, and that's why I love it! More than Gerbera's, which kind of too beautiful to be Mucc's PV hahahaha. Mucc always makes me luagh XD
