Now I know that this is a really long shot but.............does anyone know:

- of any published material, in print or on the net, which covers the history of this flying school in the period 1929-33
- what aircraft the flying school operated in the period 1930-33
- whether the flying school closed in 1933 when civilian flying ceased at Tachikawa Airport
- if not, to where the flying school transferred and what was its history thereafter
- whether there is a successor to the flying school in existence today

or if no-one knows, does anyone know of a forum dealing with Japanese aviation history where I might post this request?

With my thanks in both hope and anticipation!

are you fluent in Japanese? there are many keijibans with very specific interest groups.

No, sadly not, mesolithic, which is why this quest is immeasurably more difficult for me and why I'm limited to using English language Japanese fora!

Thank you, mesolithic. I followed the hyperlink but the result displayed was that: 'you have either reached a page that is unavailable for viewing or reached your viewing limit for this book'. I presume that the book is Japanese and is written using kanji and/or kana characters - which maybe is the reason why for me, being in Europe, I received the aforementioned message rather than the text of the book. Thus might I impose upon you, mesolithic, to let me know the gist of that which your google search produced?
