Hey everyone. An old song I love, i thought i'd try to translate as much if i could. if you could, please correct ym mistakes ^^

Ok ^^;; So I did my best. Some words I didn't know and just guessed. And I knwo some of the English sentences don't make much sence in english, but I don't know another way to say it....

Hmmm. The stuff in red, I couldn't figure out.

未来はどこまでも輝いてた

Dokomademo I found was translated as "anywhere", "everywhere"...so perhaps...
"The Future was shining everywhere" or "The future shone everywhere."

とても懐かしく思うよ

Natsukashii is also translated as "nostalgic" ne? "To look back with fondness". So perhaps "The window will be dyed a nostalgic colour."

前を向いてればまた会えますか

向いてれば has a meaning along the lines of "going forward"...前 of course means "in front" so...it might mean something like "If I keep moving forward (in front of me), will I see I meet you again?" or "If I keep going in front of me, will I see you again?"

未来はどこへでも続いてるんだ

Here "doko he demo" kinda means "towards the direction of anywhere". 続いてるんだ of course means continuing, to go on. This line also gives the reason for the previous line ne? She's questioning if she is seeing that person again because the future continues on in many directions. In short I think this line could be "Because the future continues on towards any direction". Or maybe something like "The future continues on in/towards many directions".

時代は移ろいを見ていたいな

I think you have a small mistake here because she sings "時代の". 時代 means the times, period, era etc. 移ろい means to change, so...this line roughly is "I want to watch the times change".

二度と会えぬ人に場所に

Now this one I dont fully understand. Nido to...I think means "never again" ...so something like "To the people I will never again meet, to the places I will never see again..."

The Last verse is kinda tricky so I'll explain why I think I translated it as such here...

ずっと前に好きだった人
The person that I liked before
冬に子供が産まれるそうだ
I heard will have a child in the winter.

You are right in translating the first line "The person that I liked before..." but I think the second line is connected to the first ne? "I heard may have a child in the winter".

昔からの決まり事を
Those rules from long ago
たまに疑いたくなるよ
It turns out I sometimes doubted them.

You were right in that naru means "become" but in this sense I think it is more in the vein of "realise" or to "turn out". I dont know become just sounds a bit awkward.

ずっと忘れらなかったの
But this whole time I couldn't ever forget
年賀状は写真付きかな
The photo (you) attached to the new years card.

These two lines are linked I think because she is saying she could never really forget the last photo the person she liked before sent to her. A nengajou is a new years card in Japan that people attach pictures to and send to loved ones.


わたしたちに出来なかったことを
The things that we couldnt do,
とても懐かしく思うよ
Are the things we long for so much.

出来なかったことmeans roughly "things that couldnt be done", わたしたち of course means "We". So together it roughly is "The things that we couldnt do".

As I explained for natsukashii means to long for, or look back with nostaligia...this line is connected to the previous line so it could be translated as "Are the things we long for so much". or "Are the things we think of with so much nostalgia". Personally I think "to long for" conveys the meaning a bit better.

The Last verse I think is really bitter sweet and personal...so...I hope this has helped ^^ If anyone can correct me, feel free.
