It's quite easy to answer that. Many people don't care to leave the mainstream. It's so sad. I mean, look at the band Trapt. They got played a bunch for their song "Headstrong" and everyone seemed to know them. But, after that, they just sort of fell off the radar. I have no idea why. They're one of the best English bands I've heard...
...I'll stop whoring them out now though.
But, yeah, basically, it's not strange at all that not many people know of them in a world dominated by morons and 'ohmigawd! he's so hawt!' kind of people (who are also morons). Hopefully, they'll get the attention they deserve one day.
