Wow...I knew about the relationships between co-workers, but this freaked me out a little. You don't even get to have your own life with such a "sempai" ☝ Would it be rude to tell the person that you don't need to be mothered THAT much ? :?

This Is The Type Of Guy...

that I'm happy to bring coffee to, right after I pee in his cup !!

it sounds like the sempai is actually just trying to be nice, i think it just sounds so bad to us because we're used to independence. i mean, as a sempai, he could do a lot of worse things. but then again, the guy might just be suing his authority over a gaijin as a way to make himself feel better. :? but yeah, at my japanese club at school we have aempai who we've voluntarily elevated to that position, so now all us former kohai, who are currently jumiors, can't wait till next year when we can be sempai and have all the freshman bow to us and kiss their sempai's feet...

it's a power thing.

Well...this is the problem with japanese society...too much respect leads to no more respect

Hahaha...Ashuri THAT is cruel !!!!!

cruel, but true...you never know how good it feels to have someone under you until you've been under everyone else all your life! it comes with age, sometimes...the only problem with that is then you get old!
