Kai-Gunto' signed 'Toshie Masamitsu'

Hi from the UK
I own a superb condition WW2 Japanese Naval Officers Sword 'Kai-Gunto' signed and made by 'Toshie Masamitsu' August 1944, I was trying to find out more on the maker 'Toshie Masamitsu' please?

Do you have a photo of the mei (the signature)? Toshie is a woman's name in today's Japanese - you may have an incorrect translation for that part of the name. For instance, Jinsoo Kim's excellent site on WW2 swordsmiths lists several smiths named Masamitsu, but none are named "Toshie".
