K-taro Takanami

Has anybody here heard of this person? He did the soundtrack for Chobits and I have the soundtrack album, which I find quite pleasant. As most on this section are into the Japanese music, I am wondering whether he has any other albums and are they any good? I know soundtrack artists can be good for one thing and shite the next, so be honest. Thanks
