Journey of learning

Hello, my name is Karn Patel. I'm from New Jersey and am 21 years old. I joined this forum because I wanted to be part of a community of like minded individuals (at least regarding my interest in Japan and learning Japanese). I also joined so that I would have a steady support group that would keep me engaged in the long haul of not just learning Japanese once, but integrating it into my life for a number of years--so that it will be available to me whenever I need it or want to use it.

If you take the time to study older posts here , there is a wealth of info to help you learn. We have super helpful staff here who can also help you. Because of the time difference , it sometimes takes a day or two to get good answers. Glad you found us and good luck with your studies.

I appreciate your reply. The more I look around here, the more I see that the value in this forum is in the previous posts, the old translations, questions about proper Japanese, and the knowledge of the senior members. I plan on posting my learning progress my blog here too.
