Tourism JAL offers free domestic flights to foreign travellers

Japan Airlines is making it easier than ever to explore the country: it offers free domestic flights to passengers who book an international flight to Japan. This promotion aims to create a seamless travel experience, allowing visitors to see more of the country without breaking the bank. To qualify for the free domestic flight, travellers must book their international and domestic flights together in a single reservation. With JAL serving 64 domestic airports, there are countless destinations to choose from, including the sake-brewing region of Niigata, the tropical beaches of Okinawa, and the historic city of Kyoto, home to 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

For travelers from the U.S., there will be the normal $100 stopover fee if they choose to stay in their first Japanese destination for over 24 hours. However, the fee is waived for travelers from Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, India and Taiwan.
