My impression is that Japanese is very polite while my country's people is very loud.

Greetings lok737 san !! There may be some truth to that, yet I still think it is a individual thing too. At the same time, I'm not really in much of a position to talk since I only have second-hand experience to go on and the Chinese students here at the uni where I teach have all been here for at least 3 years already...most of the them much longer...and so I have nothing to really compare with. MM

...depends on person. If I would tell Japanese people are very rude, people would tell me its an invidual thing, not all people are bad. Its one of the two sides of the coin. Now I can say.. yes they are very polite
