Illuminati!

LOL that's just great! My mom's very open minded and not controling at all which is so nice. She didn't used to be that way though. Like I said in my intro, "Strict Christian home" *shivers* it's not that I have anything against religon--no, wait, I take that back I do actually--but sometimes I think people take it WAY too far. Like my Uncle won't let his daughter wear sleevless shirts. I mean for goodness' sake what is the big deal? Oi, I swear...my Auntie and Uncle on my mom's side scare me.

-is extremely jealous of you- I want a mom like yours... I'm close to my mom, but not close enough to share everything with her... Like my girlfriend and I are really close, like theres things she knows that my mom never will, mainly because I can't be close to my mom like that :auch: My dad isn't as bad, he tolerates all types of music, but my mom is the anti-jrock demon from hell All she does is walk around and complain that I listen to gay men sing in Japanese -runs away from home-

Hey, gay men are way cooler then straight men and Japanese is a much more beautiful language then English.
And I am really lucky to have a mom who's not only my mother but my best friend as well. I can talk to her about anything from war and peace to fanservice but I do remember how it was when I couldn't share anything with my mom. My dad's still like that but my parents are divorced and I live with my mom so it's all good.

-gets even more jealous- I cant talk to my mom about anything, shes so narrow minded, she may seem like shes listening to you and understanding you, but then she opens her mouth and its as if everything you just said went in one ear and out the other :auch: she never listens to what I say, and when shes wrong, and I KNOW I'm right, she won't believe it till shes got hard proof oh well I'm done talking about her, it annoys me :sorry:

Yesh, gay men = and Japanese = and my mom =

I'm sorry your parents are divorced

See that's how my dad and my oldest brother are. They never listen and they think they're always right NO MATTER WHAT. :auch: Matter of fact last night my brother tried to come with some BS reason why I shouldn't be allowed to watch J-Rock vids on the web. Unfortunatly for him my mother got more upset over the idea of no J-Rock vids then I did. Go mom!!!

And it doesn't really bother me that my parents are divorced. There was no big fight or anything. I just woke up one morning and my dad was gone. I still see him from time to time since my little brother pratically lives with him but he's not really part of my life anymore. I don't miss him.

i can share most things with my mom, but jrock is just not close to her heart. she 'likes' music well enough, but she doesn't play an instrument herself, and she can't really understand my obsession with it... it's tempting to say "music is my life" but that's such a cliche... and, there's so much more in my life that I can't say music is... everything... but... take it away and I'd shrivel up and die... She just doesn't have that feeling.

I can honetsly say music is my life. It has been since I was very little. I learned to talk and carry melodies with my voice before I could walk. I play piano and have for years. I've always been obsessed with music be it The Phantom of the Opera or Dir en Grey. Music is so much of my life.

Oh, same here. I talked waaaaay early (6mths)..... and..... uhhhhh.... never shut up since..... :banghead:

Music is my life... I've played piano since I was 5 and a half... making it almost 11 years since I started playing... I've tried to quit ALOT of times, but I just CAN'T I go back every time Also, there isn't a day in my recent life (past iono... 4 or 5 years?) that I HAVN'T listened to music... I'm always with my CD player, or iPod, or at home; one of my three boomboxes will be playing, or my computer music is something I literally can't live without...

To Hyde: I'm sorry, divorces really scare me, I wouldn't want my family to break up

I think I would implode if I went a full 24 hours without music.

That's totally understandable. I mean, yeah it does tear you up and make you jaded but I grow up so much when my dad left. I'm a completely different person now and I'm thankful for that.

I would too!!

At school, during class, when we're not allowed to listen to music, I start playing my whole playlist through my head... I've listened to each song so much, its like IMPRINTED in my brain

Yeah, I made it to 10 hours before I broke. And I only made it that far 'cause I kinda cheated and kept playing Vanilla Remix in my head over and over.

oooh, can you upload that by any chance? is it the slow one? :? there are so many vanilla versions I don't know which is which

Me too... I'd die....... I've played the guitar since I was big enough to get my arm over a 3/4 version (thanks to my Dad *hugs*) and before then I used to strum on my mom's egg-slicer (no, i'm not joking! )

yeah! please upload the other version of Vanilla!

Guitar is cool, but hard to play... maybe because piano involves like two hands, or something all I know is, when I tried, I wasn't as good as I was with piano I want my bro to learn how to play guitar... its so kewl

oooh! now I just have to get home from work...

-can imagine self being one of those fan girls screaming for Gackt-

Ah I have this version

That sucks. Yeah, I get almost all my J-Rock from google videos. It's thanks to them that I've heard X Japan and many others.
