Hyuuga, Satori

Hello everyone, I go by the name Satori... my friend Hiko told me to come here a while back and I just now got around to registering. I really haven't been to Japan other than sitting in Narita airport as I waited for a flight to Singapore... O///O but since that fateful day I've always been curious about Japan.





The day I got back from Singapore, I had a renewed interest in Japan and I've wanted to learn as much as I could about the inspiration that goes into most manga and anime... I wanted to see what the world was truly like on the other side. I grew tired of watching travel shows that show tourist traps.



Anyway, about me... I'm a tad shy in real life but I'm sure here I'll be chatting like crazy. I grew up watching Sailor Moon, Dragonball, and Gundam but I am open to a lot more anime now. I admit I'm more of a Shoujo fan when it comes to anime and manga, but I still like Shounen titles as well... I'm not too deep into Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece (or any Shounen Jump titles) but I do enjoy them every now and then.



As far as history and folklore... I am obsessed with the Sengoku era, something about Feudal Japan makes me feel out of place in our modern world.



If I can think of anything else I want to say... I'll keep editing this thread, I hope to make some friends here. n_n

You are not the only one. Everything Sengoku is hot hot hot now in Japan, even among young women.
