I found this place whilst googling for Banana Yoshimoto, and if it's okay with you I think I'll stick around...

The introductory sticky a few topics up suggested I introduce myself, so.. I'm twenty two, English, my Japanish interests are music (Merzbow, Melt Banana, Kahimi Karie, Nobukazu Takemura, Takako Minekawa...), cinema (Beat Takeshi, Hideo Nakata, Kenji Fukasaku, Takashi Miike, Kore-eda Hirokazu...), and literature (Haruki Murakami, Banana Yoshimoto, Lafcadio Hearn...) and a few other things. Anyway, I'm sure you'll get to know me better.
