I have recently purchased a PDA, and I had a few questions.

1) How is the WiFi in Japan? Is it compatable with American Equipment?

2) What PDA programs are out there that would help me while in Japan?

I actually found a program

surf.to/metro

I dunno how good it is, or if it will work, but I figure it would be worth a try. Has anyone else used this prgram before?

WiFi is the standardized wireless protocol. It works in Japan as in any other country (if they call it WiFi). I used Palm TX in Japan (I brought it to Japan from USA). I have to keep using English; but, I can still use it without any problem. I even brought back the Belkin Wireless Router to Japan and I am now using it without any issue in Tokyo.

I appreciate the information. I have been searching all over the internet for programs to help me when i am in Japan. At least the PDA will be able to hold all my addresses, and times and dates and such.
