Hi,
I'm going to Japan in October; we arrive in Tokyo on Oct 3rd (a Monday) and leave on Oct 14th (a friday). I've always wanted to see the cosplayers around Harajuku, however, our travel plans have us leaving Tokyo the day after we arrive and returning the Monday or Tuesday before we depart - so this leaves us without a Sunday in Tokyo.
So... I was wondering if there are ever any cosplayers about on weekdays? How about public holidays? I read that October 10th is a public holiday - - is this correct? If it's a public holiday, could I expect to see hoards of cosplayers about? :?
I'm currently trying to convince my bf of the importance of having a Sunday in Tokyo, but he's not convinced enough to alter our travel plans or spend extra days in Tokyo.
