grapee.jp website

I had been visiting a website about Grape Japan as it had contained good articles about Japan but it has stopped posting new ones at the beginning of the year. I know this is a bit of a long shot but does anybody know what has happened to the site?

At first glance, I thought this was a private WordPress blog, but Grape Japan is run by a Yokohama-based company. I guess they realised how time-consuming it is to keep a website up-to-date and appealing to a broad audience. Not that I would know anything about it, but being forced to create new content constantly might have strained their resources. I'm glad we don't have to be profitable.

I wasn't sure if the site was in Japanese as well and maybe had an update on why it wasn't producing new content.

I really enjoyed the articles on it and it was disheartening when new ones weren't getting published.

I've just noticed that the site has a Japanese version as well and is continuing to publish articles. It's maybe simply as you say they can't afford English translations or weren't getting the traffic to justify it.
