@FF I think none of their fans in the west matters, unless they don't know they have fans here. Should we scream it to them? "YOU HAVE FANS IN THE WEST MUTHAF*CKAS!"

*raises hand* I'm a sadomasochist so I'm the M-type & S-type in one person and I'm shorter than Ruki and if he made me cry I'd kick his a$s once I'm done or make him cry in return.

@agitha I know a few boys like that for aoi ^^

I thought "Red" was supposed to be a hard rock love song. Unless it's lyrically because that song isn't hard. Kinda disappoints me.

@Shizuka *laughs* luckily Ruki isn't my type of guy though. so fangirls don't be killing me.

it isn't, it's kinda disappointing me, I wanna hear something hard from them and they keep making all these light songs. Guess I'll have to wait. or put a gun to whoever's head keep writing the music.

O-o that was an awesome image you put in my brain there haha.

-_____- it was pictured in chibis though....ah...i have to get out more.....

I'm an S type as well .

he says he wants a girl who can be a good housewife now he wants one that can kick a**. That 'll backfire sooner or later .

Had school today and I'm stressed already -_-* goes to listen song now *

Ruki needs to make up his mind. that's terrible that you're stressed already damned school.

about the no girlfriend rule: it is not only PSC. And the rule is there for certain reasons. After a concert, an afterparty, where chosen fans cna chat, or eat, drink together with the band:

"SATOH-SAN: And this goes on until maybe 6AM. Then, outside the pub, when everyone is going home, the band members will approach certain fans and ask for their phone numbers.

TDR: For crazy hairspray sex?

SATOH-SAN: No. If you get a girl's phone number, then she will have to come to every gig and buy every album, since she thinks you like her. Provided that you don't publicly have a girlfriend – hence the rule."

I am just reading a very interesting interview with one ex-producent. Hm...dangerous reading. Probably shatters your fantasies. But confirms a lot of what I was thinking anyway...

http://www.hellodamage.com/top/2010/03/01/interview-with-an-ex-visual-kei-record-executive/

wow, that's too long to read but what I did read of it was entertaining. it doesn't ruin my fantasies cause mine is simply going to shows and enjoying them when I go to Tokyo, I rather meet more local people and hang out with them and have fun then anyone famous or in the music industry. but I'm sure this would ruin some hyper young fangirl's dreams.

exactly, I know many of (especially, but not all) young girls have very vivid fantasies, and it is about that- the band build their fame on those fantasies, that is the reason of such a secrecy and other things..
japanese are sure different

aah, another interesting thing...about members leaving PSC:
TDR: And what if the band IS successful it IS making money and you, the musician, want to quit, because you are not getting paid?

SATOH-SAN: You can get in a lot of trouble for that!

TDR: For quitting?

SATOH-SAN: Yes. You can get in trouble two ways. You can get blacklisted from the industry, or you can get seriously assaulted by the label's muscle. And the blacklisting can last for several years. They can't tour even under another name. Of course if the band isn't making money , who cares? But if the band is making money, and they want to leave the label, that's not allowed.

as I thought.....

wow simply just to build up reputation and make money. so it's pretty much a scam. I understand now why vkei guys don't have body hair ^^. although I do like the vkei guys who decided to grow their facial hair like Kaoru, Kyo and Hizumi when I saw D'espairsRay last month. oh well those young girls will eventually learn that those fantasies aren't reality and probably never will be and I'm sure young boys have fantasies about the jpop girls too.

of course, the entertainment business is all about fantasies...and producing. comercials, products that go with the music, album etc. etc...
another interesting quote:
"TDR: But back then , no girlfriends?

SATOH-SAN: Oh no, that rule is not changed. Still no girlfriends! If band members have girlfriends, they will give less time to the company. But also, the girlfriend will gossip secret stuff to the other fans – people outside the company. Also, a fan that you have never had sex with is a fan who will keep on coming to your shows. But usually once you have sex, she stops coming. That's the end of the relationship. By the way, it's the exact same system at the host clubs."

*laughs* I thought Japanese fans were too respectful to even try to have sex with bands. I think that kind of fan needs a boyfriend of her own for sex, someone she can have instead of someone she can't. About the girlfriend telling secrets and stuff, that's true but it's also 100 percent possible that he could tell her secrets to his bandmates or anyone else he knows. I think you risk that when you're in a relationship with anyone. I see that they think poorly of fans. It's kind of ****** up. At least Kyo willingly admits that he doesn't like fans.

yep. It is really a whole different world from ours..
and you know what? al that teeny horny fans grow up, get married, have children and don´t give a crap anymore about vK...
that is the way it goes..
but dude, those guys have no life on their own. most of them are dropouts and deliquents without finished high school.
and an interesting thing: for smaller labels, there is ONE producent who writes music for ALL the bands under that label..even if on thei CDjackets is stated who wrote which part..
I wonder if that aplies /applied to Gazettte too...now that woulb be really ******....

ah, and they are all b*tches of Yoshiki

I always thought that the music industry wasn't worth being in, no matter what country you live in. yeah and once the fans move on and their sales drop - well life will suck for the former bands.

@ Ol - I read that a while ago . . That No gf thing is part of a " clean image " for the bands but we don't know can't hurt .

The wanting to protect from the mainstream fans you do see that with GazettE especially when SHIVER came out and some of the others do cross my mind at times but irl I haven't much fantasy of them much really ( Yeah I would liked to have worked with them but meh that ain' t gonna happen but not be with them . Too old >_< plus it'll be creepy if one of them asked for my number. ). I just want to continue enjoying their stuff and or maybe go see em live that's all I fantasize about .

@ Kyo - Yeah he should Yep school sucks

@FF: I think what you said about enjoying their music and gigs and fantasising about it is exactly what it should be. nothing more...well, in theory. but ppl like fantasies and there is nothing wrong with it, as long as they remember it is only fantasies. The problem is, ppl somehow tend to buy all the crap they see on internet w/o questioning if it is real, or only an image. And someone cashes money.
And also- am going to download stuff. I want to support the band, not the company. SO I am going to dl as I did before without any remorse.

I'm not sure what kind of consequences it would have if bands would get so close to their fans to getting their phone numbers. And about gf telling secrets...I remember wife of one of the member of My Chemical Romance really made use of her sudden popularity...such as blogs, stupid talks etc. I think she never did anything in music industry, she was just a wife. In that case band members have to be careful what kind of girl they will date...they surely don't want any gossip girl.

I agree with Kyous about Japanese fans being respectful...and I also can't imagine the parties with fans...it must be weird I think....

Their songs do sound alike these days..was hoping RED would be a little more different. And it's not what I would call a hard rock song at all either. :/

@olosta Thanks for the link. I'm gonna read it.

I think it's really interesting to read about things like this. We know a lot of ****** up stuff is going on in this industry, but reading about it is always a little shocking...and kind of depressing. But I guess since it's all about the money this is the way it has to be.
It's really messed up that you can't even leave if you want to. Maybe they don't even want to be in the band, but they have to since no one wants to be blacklisted or assaulted.

Anyway..I'm glad I'm old enough to know that things aren't always the way it seems to be, and that the music industry does have a dark side...and that I'm actually never gonna get Aoi. XD
Those crazy fangirls scares me..someone needs to tell them how things really are. XD

And lol..they all are really b*tches of Yoshiki. XDD

@ Agi - Yeah Aoi is lucky he won' t be getting the a** kicking after all. Seriously I'm glad I'm old enough to know that too. Some fangirl comments do scare me like there were some DeG fangirls talking about giving birth to Kyo's baby.

@ Ol - -_-. I don't want to support PSC either . I agree with the fantasy thing it shouldn't be more but sometimes fans can't help themselves with the fantasizing.

@ Shizu - The companies want no trouble .

Another fantasy that fans have a lot ( not saying all ) is that GazettE are constantly happy. Eight years together and never fought with / stopped talking to each other / argued ? Something seems wrong there. I also wonder that during comments when there are 2 or more members.

fans really think that? I always thought that without contract they would disband already

No, he won't. XD But it's still fun to joke about it though. As long as everyone is in on the joke and people don't suddenly get all serious and think they're gonna have their babys or anything. XD Lol..who thinks like that?!! Well, people are a little crazy I guess. ^__^

It's nice joke around about them it's no fun if you take them all too seriously
Yeah they do think that.. it's creepy but it gives the rest of us something to laugh about .

well, after reading the interview it doesn´t surprise me anymore, that their songs sound alike now...
and that DIM was actually only a bunch of singles pasted together and some miscellaneous songs added (you can earn much more money selling 5 singles than one album)
and yeah, I think they would have disbanded already if there was no contract...
and many things in their interview now make more sense...and as well I see it in a new light...
well, I think Uruha is the only one who finished high school...I wonder how he got into the industry xD

I thought Reita and Uruha finished school cause from interviews Ruki , Aoi and Kai dropped out.

Yeah like they are getting tired now.
