Well, today I was bored, so I decided to write to Ruki via Gazette's official website. It's the first 'fanmail' I've ever sent. In fact, I really don't like sending fanmail because I'm afraid I'll sound stupid and not know what to write... I was nervous the whole time, thinking "oh god, am I making myself look like an idiot?"

I kind of just wrote that I liked Gazette's music and listened to it everyday, and that I think their dress style is interesting. I asked Ruki about his guitar playing, if he thought it was difficult. I kept it very 'general', don't want to creep the poor man out. I kind of pity Gazette, they probably get lots of fangirly mail. If you think the forums at Batsu and jref get fangirly, then you've never seen some of the Japanese fansites! Thank god I'm not naturally fangirly.

I nearly fell off my chair, because when I clicked the "send mail" button, this LOUD voice said "arigatou" (uhh, I'm guessing it was Ruki's voice recorded?). Guess I had my speakers too loud..

Now that I've written it, I do kind of hope he writes back. Just because that would be really neat. Haha, but I'm sure the members of Gazette get thousands of fan mail a day, and they probably have someone else checking their mail. But, I'm still holding out hope.

hahaah Pink Usagi Chan that's so funny about the "arigatou" part. Well it'll be hard to answer all the fanmail but maybe someday when you least expect it, you'll get a reply. (Like a year later lol)

they record short words individually, i was surprised too when i sent the mail first time.

And yea people usually upload their PVs pretty quickly so I'll be sure to check out youtube the day FilmBug is released.

LOL I sent him a fanmail too...I felt kinda stupid though heheh besides I dont know enough japanese to write a whole mail so I used my poor english heheh but yeah I heard his voice saying "arigatou" and I was like AWWWWE how cute lol guess I was still nervous. I really hope he at least reads my mail hehe, it would be so nice if he answered Is the first time I write a fanmail to an artist oh:

貴女ノ為ノこの命 translated I think it means something like : This life because of you or your benefits of this life. It makes more sense in Japanese, I'm not the best translator.

JoRuDeNnA, your e-mail will actually probably stand out from the thousands written in Japanese! I guess that someone's employed to go through the fanmail, select a couple to read, and the rest hit 'delete'. XD

haha, anyway there is a rumour my friend told me bout Gazette..
it's rather shocking but yet hard to believe..
she says tht Reita is actually gonna marry!!
but since he is very "playboy" so he wont marry... haha hope you gus understand what i said.. i dont really know how to use the word in english.. XP

Where did your friend hear this? I don't believe rumours, I only believe something if it's from the artist.

And really, does it even matter? He's a grown man, for goodness sake, let him do as he pleases. Nothing to be upset about. Let the man live, breathe! XD To steal from Gone with the Wind, I say: "quite frankly I don't give a damn." Most of these j-rocker men are going to get married someday, and does it matter or affect the rest of us? No. Why should anybody have to worry about these people who don't even know we exist's personal lives.

When these most likely fan-made rumours get posted on a forum like this, it only causes problems.

If I sound mad, it's only because of the *insert artist's name*-has-a-baby-and-is-married rumour that was posted in some thread awhile back. I'm not mad, just a bit apprehensive about the replys that that post might get. It's a bit annoying.

But yea anyways, yay for Reita if he is. I'm not too sure but it seems that the 20s is a popular marrying age in Japan? Everyone needs someone to love and be with. JRockers too.

It is hard to imagine Reita getting married though, because he looks so young especially with that bandana on his nose. WOOT WOOT FOR REITA!!!!!

Aw, how could I forget that part? XD That's the best line in the whole movie.

Well, for women 20s is a popular marrying age, partly because of social pressure. A woman who is past 30 and not married gets called things like 'chrismas cake' or something, because christmas cakes are only good during that time, and after that they become stale. It's kind of hard to explain. I've seen men in their 30's and 40's who aren't yet married, and no one seems to bat an eye. It's like that in most cultures I think. The woman is expected to marry young, while a man can remain a bachelor and still be considered marriable even in his 40's and 50's. Damn society. XD

I just reread my previous post, and I wasn't trying to come off so, uh, harsh sounding. I don't think some of you were here at the forums when someone started this rumour about someone in a band was married and had a child. It kind of caused a wave of replies like "Noooo! How could that be?" and "he can't get married." and other things. I just didn't want something like that to occur. So I apologize momoiroheaben if it sounds like I was jumping on your post. :sorry: It had nothing to do with you personally.

Although, I will admit that I find it strange when I hear that certain celebrities are married, because they just don't look like the marryable types to me, if that makes sense. I sometimes forget that celebrities are humans too. How terrible of me. XD

Oh, and if it's true that he's marrying, congratulations to Reita. I hope the woman knows what she's getting herself into...

Heh, I like Reita and all, but I can't help thinking "ROOSTER" whenever I look at his hair. Well, at least he looks like a cute rooster.

On a side note, what happened to all the people in the Gazette thread? It feels like only 5 of us have been posting on the past couple of pages. Everyone just....disappeared. XD (By the way, this post WAS on topic, it had to do with Gazette).

I saw on some site that Gazette will be releasing their recent tour on dvd, a special limited edition and a regular edition. I was thinking of buying one, but the limited edition is about 8000 yen! (think around $80 u.s. dollars) Do they think we're all rich or something?

I saw the dvd they were buying and OMG!!! is so expensiveeeee I really wanted to buy it but nuuuuu is too much money!! And I already bought the Film Bug I DVD soooo nope not for me this time

I want their tour DVD but its Region 2 so I can't even watch it on my DVD players. That sucks! I'll just buy all their CDs to tie me over.
